The Community Development Project is supported by the Australian Government through the Australian NGO Cooperation Program（https://www.dfat.gov.au/aid/who-we-work-with/ngos/ancp/Pages/australian-ngo-cooperation-program） (ANCP) and Quaker Service Australia（https://qsa.org.au/）, and Bread for the World（https://www.brot-fuer-die-welt.de/en/bread-for-the-world/）, and is all about the implementation and maintenance of activities which enable families in Prek Chrey commune to establish stable economic livelihoods. These activities are based on the principles of gender equality, health and sustainability, which are the prerequisites for the achievement of the villagers’ full economic potential.

With the guidance and support of KCD, the villagers run a Cow Bank, a Rice Bank and a Saving & Credit Group under the responsibility of the “Prek Chrey Community for Development” (PCD) .
