The Kuwait Society for Oncology is a scientific committee specialized in the field of oncology science which includes:
The Association's affairs are run by a board of directors of seven members elected by the members of the Association for a term of two years
Objectives of Kuwait Medical Association:
Seeking to raise the level of the medical profession and human physicians to achieving the greatest health care.
Maintaining the honor of the profession, its ethics and noble purposes, and discussing matters related to professional conduct for its members.
Conducting scientific studies and researches in different branches of medicine that keep pace with the progress and development in the world of medicine and cooperating with universities, colleges, local and foreign scientific institutions in this field.
Holding seminars, scientific discussions and studying the professional problems in different medicine practices and the problems encountered by human physicians within their professional lives.
Working to ensure doctors against the dangers of the medical profession and their defensing them before the disciplinary councils and assisting them in providing the means to defending themselves in lawsuits filed against them because of professional errors before the courts.
Forming professional links emanating from the Association for each specialty of human medicine specialties according to the framework of the objectives set by the Association and statutes passed by it.
Putting rules , bylaws and regulations on the ethics of the medical profession that is committed by the doctor in their practice of his/ her profession and to develop accountability and disciplinary sanctions for violation of the provisions of the rules and ethics of the profession.
Issuing medical journals and newsletters.
studying health laws and regulations applicable in the country and making proposals to ensuring its development in order to achieve the interests of the medical profession and its practices.
participating in developing the medical education policy in the State with the concerned authorities.
Participating in the evaluation of scientific and medical university and higher specialization certificates with the concerned authorities in the State.
