MRC’s Kulhudhuffushi City Unit, supported by the North Regional Office, mobilised quickly to support the emergency response alongside the Kulhudhuffushi City Council and partner agencies contributing to operational logistics, dewatering efforts, and the coordination of the Emergency Operations Centre established to manage the situation and assist affected residents.

MRC’s response centred on supporting the City Council’s Emergency Operations Centre - the coordination hub for receiving reports from residents, directing resources, and maintaining communication across agencies.
