In order to accomplish this, the Network will pursue the following objectives:

Increased exchange of expertise and lessons learned between various stakeholders involved in the design and delivery of CDD projects

Enhanced quality of and access to relevant capacity building materials and local expertise on community empowerment and civic engagement

Enhanced coordination of capacity building efforts for community empowerment among development partners

Activities:

National Networks – Representatives from community based-organizations, local and national governments, development agencies, NGOs, and other individuals with experience in CDD projects, are invited to join a Network to explore ways to empower communities and make CDD projects more effective.
