Business Window Scale-up Grants

Potential applicants: Growth and larger established businesses

End beneficiaries: Refugees and host communities

Size of grants: Between 20,000 EURO and 200,000 EURO (BIRR Equivalent)

How to Apply

1st) Register your interest . Fill in your business details on tvetcf.org. This allows the fund to gauge demand and send you an invitation to the Round 2 webinar.

2nd) Download the concept note form for Window II . Read the guidance notes at the end of the form carefully before starting.

3rd) Complete and save the form . Answer all questions thoroughly. Save the completed file on your device.

4th) Upload before the deadline . Go to your window page( Window II ), click the upload icon, attach your completed file, and click Submit. You will see a "Submission is successful" confirmation.

Eligibility for Window 2

Who can apply? Growth and larger established businesses.

All applicants must be able to demonstrate how their proposed project will benefit refugees and host communities ((mainly refugees with registration and work permit testimonial) )

Your business must be able to sign a grant agreement with MoLS should you be successful in applying for a grant.

You must have the relevant business license renewed for the latest year

You must also have a Tax Identification Number (TIN).

Your business must also have a dedicated business bank account in order to receive the grant

The Business must operate at least 5 Fisacal years.

What size of grant can I apply for? Between 20,000 EURO and 200,000 EURO (BIRR Equivalent)

The size of grant you should apply for should be in proportion with your planned activities funded under the grant

Value for money is a key consideration for the Fund and costs should not be inflated (i.e. the amount of grant money requested should be proportional to the size of employment deem to be created)
