Policy, Advocacy and Communication Committee
Mandate
To serve as KMA's strategic voice on health policy, leading evidence-based advocacy on legislation, regulations, and national health priorities affecting doctors and Kenyans.
Vision
Our vision is to support a healthier Kenya where evidence-based policies and innovative solutions drive equitable access to quality healthcare for all.
Mission
We strive to empower healthcare professionals and members of the public, influence policy decisions, and foster a thriving healthcare ecosystem through strategic advocacy, knowledge sharing, and collaborative partnerships.
Objectives
Develop and articulate KMA's positions on emerging health sector issues, legislation and regulations.
Drive engagement and dialogue with government, regulators and other stakeholders onhealth policy matters.
Oversee the Association's internal and external communications, including its public image and media engagement.
